We stayed here last weekend for four nights in a caravan, with our friends joining us for some of the time in their motorhome. The booking was easy over the phone & the directions given were accurate. The site itself was well cared for & the amenities block faultless. Sue, the owner, was pleasant & helpful, her husband popped by occasionally checking the site & stopping for a chat. He was a font of local knowledge. This is a very quiet site which we have no problem recommending to others.

We were given a very warm welcome by Sue when we arrived at Fourways camp site. Everything was explained about the facilities, which we found very good, nothing was too much trouble to deal with as were all of our enquiries about the local area and further afield. We have had a most enjoyable and relaxing time whilst staying here. I would highly recommend this site.

This was the worst campsite we have ever visited. We made a reservation via email clearly stating the date, it was accepted and arrival time was noted to be between 12pm-7pm. We arrived at the site at 6.45pm, the gate to access the site was closed. We called the contact number provided several times, no one answered. The gate was unlocked to we made our way to the electric hook up pitches, anticipating the owners would greet us from the house opposite. No one greeted us and no one answered emails and calls. So, we set up. We had had a long day cycling and sightseeing. We quickly discovered there was no running water, electric or services. After waiting for a response to our contact and realising that there was no running water on site we walked to the local pub, where we were greeted by very friendly staff and obtained drinking water and the use of their facilities. On the walk back from the pub we noticed a house with the same name as the campsite where we made contact with the son of the owners through an open window. We were told that the campsite was closed and the owners away! After negotiating with the quite rude owners and their son the basic amenities were connected. Followed by a demand for a bank transfer when we had eventually gone to sleep. All in all an eventful stay. This campsite clearly isn't actually open for business so unless you want a similar experience don't book. It's an absolute shame the place is ran and kept like this, the location is beautiful and could be amazing.
