Test Site

Graet pitch. Staff were really helpful as my husband has had a stroke was asked if we needed any help. Situated in a lovely peaceful site near the river. Lovely walks for the dog which he enjoyed. Facilities where plush kept clean at all time disable toilet and shower where perfect could of had a fan or air-conditioning. Shop great just had things you need wine beer and milk. Can't wait to see you again next month.

Love this site! The facilities as fabulous and has a lovely dog walking area which leads down to the waters edge. Nice and handy for York which is 15 mins drive away. Local bus stops right outside. Local pub 10 mins walk which is dog friendly and does a banging sunday cavery. Staff are friendly and helpful too. Well stocked shop including large selection of alcoholic and soft drinks. Pizza van that visits is delicious and im not a big pizza fan but ate the lot! This was our 2nd visit and due to do a 1 night stop on our return from Norfolk. Defo will be back.

We don’t normally leave reviews on the first night of a stay, but after such an incredible start, we couldn’t wait. We’ve stayed at Naburn Lock Caravan Park three or four times over the past five years, although it has been a little while since our last visit. The improvements are absolutely fantastic. Our pitch is huge, fully serviced and beautifully set up, with a picnic bench on its own paved hardstanding area and even a fire pit. The facilities are spotless, and the toilets and showers are the best Ive seen in any caravan site. Each shower is similar to a full bathroom with toilet, basin, huge mirror and bench tops. 5⭐️ We caravan almost every weekend for around ten months of the year around Yorkshire and because there are so many great sites, we very rarely return to the same park twice. We usually enjoy discovering somewhere new. However, this is easily one of the best caravan parks we have ever stayed at and could genuinely be the park that makes us stop touring quite so much. It will definitely become one of our regular favourites, and we’ll be returning again and again. Congratulations to everyone involved. You’ve done an amazing job. A very well-deserved 10 out of 10. York Naburn Lock Caravan Park is quite simply one of the finest campsites we've stayed at. From the moment you arrive, it's clear that every aspect of the park is maintained to an exceptionally high standard. The grounds are immaculate, the pitches are spacious and well laid out, and the peaceful adults-only atmosphere makes it the perfect place to relax and unwind. The facilities are outstanding, with spotless shower and toilet blocks that feel more like those of a luxury hotel than a campsite. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and always happy to help, creating a warm and inviting environment throughout your stay. The location is superb, nestled alongside the beautiful River Ouse and just a short walk from Naburn Lock. There are wonderful riverside walks and cycle routes right from the campsite, while York city centre is easily accessible by bus, bike, or a short drive. It's the ideal base for exploring the city while enjoying the tranquillity of the countryside. Dog owners will appreciate the excellent walking areas, and anyone seeking peace and relaxation will love the quiet surroundings. With its immaculate presentation, first-class facilities, stunning location, and excellent customer service, York Naburn Lock Caravan Park sets the benchmark for what a touring park should be. A truly exceptional campsite that we would recommend without hesitation. We can't wait to return.
