Not to be confused with All Hallows’ Haven, this is a lovely little campsite with electric tent pitches (requires hookup cable) and berths for motor homes around a small central grass area with children’s playground. On three sides there is a field, which means great views to the horizon for both sunrise and sunset. We got an unexpected dusting when the field was filled but it was at harvest time and only once. The motor home at the entrance is where the warden lives. Currently a chatty guy who may give you his health history but a good egg. To enter and exit with a vehicle you need a key fob which requires a £50 cash deposit. Also be aware you need to pay the balance in cash on arrival (the pitchup payment is their fee). The toilets and showers are wet rooms which are well proportioned, with three for the site. There are also washing machines and a sink with hot water. It’s part of a complex that used to include a bar but doesn’t have a license anymore. Genuinely a sweet little site and space for kids to play. You can bring a fire pit and wood (none available on site) and there are several water sources on site.
