Xi Home Dumpling Shoreditch

We originally came here because of the dumpling challenge, sadly we missed it this time, but if they bring it back, we’ll 100% be returning for that alone. That said, we didn’t leave disappointed. We tried a selection of dumplings and a few other dishes, and honestly… it’s a winner. Everything we had was full of flavour and really well done. The staff were also lovely, super attentive and made sure we were looked after the whole time, which always makes a difference. Definitely a spot we’ll be coming back to (hopefully next time for that challenge)

Been coming here for a while and never been disappointed. Had my solo bday dinner here earlier this year on top of today’s visit. Worth checking their seasonal menu as you might discover new flavours. Cute interior. Polite staff and amazing flavours. Make sure you come with an empty belly as you won’t stop with just one dish ;)

We had a very delicious meal here tonight. Highly recommended! The staff were friendly and professional and the place was clean and had good energy. Food was absolutely delicious. We ordered a couple of different dumplings as well as the stir fried chicken, duck rolls and the giant soup dumplings and also got some smashed cucumbers and dan dan noodles. All of which were amazing! I was a bit worried the big soup dumpling was going to be a let down but it was absolutely delicious. Lovely rich broth inside and nicely flavoured pork. The giant dumpling was so good, in fact, that in her excitement my friend sadly dropped hers on the floor and they were kind enough to replace it for free because she was so disappointed. All the dumplings were deliciously flavoured and we were very impressed by the noodles because they still had a good texture to them and the flavours were great. Also, don’t miss out on the chilli oil because that was also really good. Portions are generous and so due to the portion sizes we felt that the prices were very reasonable. You might look at the price on the dumplings and think they’re expensive but you get 10 of them not 6 like a lot of places. For sure would come back and would recommend. I just regret not buying one of their mugs on the way out.

Love this new branch of Xi Home Dumplings bay - the one near Leicester Square is a bit small, and this has more seating space. The food is great - lots of options. Bit expensive to be fair, but nice every once in a while.
