About Ashlea Pools Country Park
Ashlea Pools Country Park sits in open Shropshire countryside near Craven Arms, offering self-contained lodges rather than traditional camping pitches. The site has showers on-site, and an on-site cafe and pizzeria serve food throughout the day.

We had a lovely week stay here in the Kingfisher Plus Lodge. Upon arrival we were given a lovely welcome basket and the choice of a juice or prosecco. The lodge itself felt cozy and clean. It was a lovely space for the week. The hot tub is cleaned and checked daily. We found everyone nice and friendly. As other reviews have mentioned, there is a shop on site. It's not too big but has the basics, at reasonable prices. However you also aren't too far from big supermarkets (would recommend Tuffins!). We have already looked if we can come back at Xmas!

Lovely couple of nights away with friends... Lodge is lovely and clean, with private hot tub and out side seating. Have dropped one star as the bedrooms are very small, very similar to being in a caravan, as 3 adults 2 of who are sharing the twin room there's limited room for moving around and there isn't much space in the double around the bed either... But we've had fun, and would come back but maybe hire a 3 bed lodge instead... Kitchen is equipped, but only 1 large saucepan available so could do with a smaller one and a frying pan ... The view from the back of the lodge overlooking the lake is beautiful and it's very peaceful here, even with kids playing nearby it's not disturbed us at all. The onsite cafe and restaurant is well laid out though we didn't use it during this stay, we are planning on grabbing an ice cream before we leave tomorrow morning.

The Lodge was amazing, The location was amazing, The Staff Were amazing - The Pizzas in the Pizzeria were next level, one of, if not the the best pizza ive ever had in my life and far better than any chain!! - Although Nit Picking - In an ideal world the sides menu could be improved - Perhaps could include some fries or chips, Garlic mushrooms & olives or somthing, as coleslaw & Dips dont cut it for me but just a personal prefrence - Eitherway one of the best places ive visited and definetly one of the best pizzas ive eaten - 10 Stars ❤️🙏 keep up the good work! PS our Sphynx cat wicket loved his stay - Have a great Summer Guys & Thanks for having us 😺

I booked a Kingfisher VIP Pet Lodge for a Christmas present for my mum and have just got back after the best stay. The lodge itself was beautiful, extremely clean and well equipped. Definitely got a cosy feel to it. The lodges are private and have a hot tub. The site itself is relatively small but extremely well maintained. The gardens are lovely and plants plotted around the site which make it look cared for. There is a shop onsite - which I would say is reasonably priced and not a rip off. We ate at the pizzeria one night and it was gorgeous! Only downside is it wasnt open again for the rest of our stay! Additionally, there were some perks that weren't advertised. If you have a dog, there is a dog run onsite which allows you to let your dog off the lead. Also, an outdoor play area and playing fields which is great for children! Would love to return - couldn't really fault the lodge, site or staff at all.
