Clun is a quiet village in an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, surrounded by countryside that draws walkers year-round. Canon's Cottage sits on the village high street, a short walk from two pubs, a cafe, and local shops. The River Clun runs nearby, and circular walks lead out to the Stiperstones, Clee Hills and Wenlock Edge. Larger towns—Ludlow, Shrewsbury and Ironbridge—are within reach for days out, as are several National Trust properties.
The cottage has two bedrooms (one kingsize, one with two singles) and one bathroom. Ground floor rooms include a living room with a wood burner set in a large inglenook, a kitchen with electric cooking and a dishwasher, a conservatory, and a separate toilet. Upstairs is the shower room. An enclosed, lawned garden with a patio and barbecue opens from the conservatory at the rear. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included; logs for the wood burner are provided. The front door opens directly onto the pavement. No smoking. One dog is welcome.
