Butlins Minehead Caravan Hire

Fair enough, weather really kind. It's September and the sun is warm, hot without the gentle breeze. In a static by the lakeside (well set back 20m) and even though busy, busy Butlins skyline is a 7min walk away! Here is a world away. I can hear the liitle birds, ducks and a pigeon! Otherwise silence. 4 days of it..... Wonderful. Will definitely return. On our visit (due to covid restrictions) we couldn't go and see a show, shame but..... None the less had a great time.

We had the best time at Butlins! The caravan was amazing too, 7 of us (4 adults and 3 children) slept comfortably in it and it had everything we needed. About a 10 minute walk to the main arena but that was perfect as you couldn't hear any noise. Loved it, we will definitely be back

Lovely area for caravans. Our one was immaculate even though it was dog friendly, we could only tell that dogs had been there before because my dog was sniffing like mad. Only allowed to walk dogs on the road way, not through the caravans or chalets but that was not a problem as my dog likes long walks. Ducks and rabbits running around the caravans ducks are friendly but beware of the seagulls. Quite a distance to walk to the entertainment with two small children but you can hire karts etc.

If its sunny you'll be able to make the most from Butlins Minehead and surrounding area. The site was clean, our chalet was acceptable but not perfect and the food was fine. You'll find however that due to covid you will have to book any shows etc and if you want a drink, find a table as you won't get served. Like any British seaside holiday prices are higher. We had Friday to Monday and the weather was sunny so getting about and an evening walk along the front was great. Overall having sunny weather made things easy, but I think you would be stuck if it rains. Highly strung kids may be hard to entertain if it does rain. Hope this helps.
