A really wonderful camping experience in every way. The campsite is quiet and peaceful, and the pitches are a good size and laid out so that it never feels crowded. Each pitch has its own (very clean) compost loo. The washing up area and showers were kept very clean, and were well stocked with eco products. The honesty shop sells useful items and there are books to borrow and board games to play in the indoor communal seating area. There is a firepit and seating plus a table at each pitch. Elise, the owner, is very friendly and helpful. The road to the campsite is a bit bumpy, but nothing that should put anyone off from staying at this hidden gem of a campsite.

This campsite is fantastic! We had a lovely pitch right by the stream and enjoyed the fire pit. The facilities were excellent with compost toilets at each pitch. Unfortunately, we missed out on the pizza, coffee shop and bar as they were closed during our visit outside of school holidays and during the working week. We highly recommend this site.

Beautiful location and wonderful low-impact facilities. We loved the pizza, foraging for wild strawberries, paddling in the stream and lying in hammocks in the woods. One of the best campsites we’ve ever been to.

Spent a magical three days at Wytch Wood Camping on the SkyView Glamping pitch which made the camping experience with two small children very easy and enjoyable. Nestled in a peaceful and beautiful woodland with a stream running through it, the site is secluded and the pitches feel private and well spaced out. There’s also a wonderful communal space with games for kids and a bar, honesty shop and delicious pizzas available. It’s a 30 min drive to the Jurassic coastline too. We loved our stay, thank you to Elise and the team for making us feel so welcome. We can’t wait to come back next season!
