Plum Cottage is a two-bedroom, one-bathroom property in Castle Cary that suits couples, small families, or anyone travelling with a dog. The cottage gives you the whole place to yourself, with a living room on the ground floor (complete with Smart TV and electric woodburner), a kitchen with breakfast area where you can cook properly, and a separate study that opens onto the garden. Upstairs are a king-size bedroom, a single bedroom, and a bathroom with roll-top bath and shower. Essentials like electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included; there's also a highchair if you need one.

The rear garden is the main feature—tiered, south-facing and enclosed, with a terrace, seating areas and a summerhouse perfect for morning coffee or evening drinks. The town centre and its shops are within walking distance, and you can head uphill into open countryside just as easily. The George Hotel is nearby if you want to eat out. The cottage does not permit smoking, and there are six steps within the garden itself.
