The Boot is a 15th-century cottage in Dulverton, a town on the edge of Exmoor where the River Barle runs through. It sleeps 8 across four bedrooms—two doubles and two rooms with single beds—plus two bathrooms. The whole place is yours alone, with parking for one car on site and more available on the road outside.
Downstairs you'll find a living room with a woodburner (fuel included to start), a separate dining room, and a kitchen equipped for proper cooking: electric range, fridge and dishwasher mean you can handle anything from a quick breakfast to a full dinner. There's a utility room with washing machine and tumble dryer. Upstairs holds all the bedrooms and a bathroom with a roll-top bath. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are all covered in the rental. One dog or cat stays free; travel cots and highchairs are available if needed.
The cottage sits ten yards from a pub and restaurant. Walking distance gets you into Dulverton's centre, or you can head out to Exmoor itself—the South West Coastal Path and countless inland trails are nearby. Lynmouth and Lynton, Dunster Castle and its gardens, the West Somerset Railway, and beaches at Dunster and Blue Anchor are all within reach for day trips. No smoking indoors.
