Fine dining, excellent and well selected wines. The knowledge in being able to prepare and cook the meats is rare In London. Everyone on the floor delivers a silver service. One hour later I can still taste each dish. This was a two and half hour dining experience which allows you to enjoy the company you’re with. The madaleines!! Perfect.

I’m genuinely gutted I didn’t catch the chef’s name who looked after us, because she was an absolute star. Properly bubbly, with an infectious giggle that made the whole place feel warmer, and just ridiculously helpful without ever being over the top. She really made the experience for us. Also showed saint-like patience while we sampled a few wines before committing to a bottle, yes, we know, we can be twats. The best way I can describe this place is unfussy but supremely confident. There’s no gimmicks, no showing off, just people who clearly know exactly what they’re doing and don’t feel the need to shout about it. And look, don’t be put off by the more “adventurous” bits of the menu. Yes, there’s offal. No, this is not your nan’s cooking (unless your nan is a culinary daredevil). It’s done so well you’ll wonder why you ever hesitated in the first place. Came for dinner, stayed for the vibes, left slightly tipsy and emotionally attached to a stranger’s laugh. 10/10.

this former Michelin star restaurant has not let me down, in fact, it was the only win one star Michelin restaurant that blew past all of the other one star michelins that disappointed me in New York, absolutely incredible flavours on every dish, literally, the chicken liver pate on toast which sounds like unappetizing was just incredibly roasty and delicious and deep in flavours, and a kohlrabi crunchy dish without little shrimps was great, the chips with the vinegar. fantastic, the fish cheeks was like a poor man's lobster is what people called it. I would call it more like crab but it was also really delicious, the John dory was not bad and interesting flat fish. I guess that was the only one that could have more flavours, the ham dish was salty but I had this delicious creamy sauce, and then topping it off with the madelins which were just Divine. had a crispy outside. remind me of those fluffy egg cakes from Chinatown, the service was friendly but little bit forgetful at times and just like aloof a little bit. but overall it's just very casual vibes. but overall the food was just impeccable us downing expensive but worth it, also a strong bottle of wine made by them

What a pilgrimage! It's great to be an eater when everyone on the team is firing on all cylinders. Everything from the Fergroni (which is a well balanced aperitif by the way) to the peas, to the meatball (the British call it something else) to the beef heart and the pork jowl was wonderful and delicious and each bite brought pleasure... Especially paired with the lovely wines that Zell recommend (I apologize if I misspelled your name) Thank you for making my night one to remember!
