What visitors say
Sooo..... this wasnt anything like we thought. We were looked down on as we weren't a regular. Attitude of the owner over a wrapper outside that wasnt even ours but nothing said about the woman always leaving dog 💩💩💩💩 everywhere. Rats in the bins 🤢 you can actually hear and see them at night. When we booked told food is served on weekends, bar open, hot showers, friendly and welcoming and icecream man daily. Got there to find bar was only open to who they decided to let in, woman who did food was away on holiday, they were only doing cold showers and I mean freezing, woman who was there had attitude problem with everyone. Person who dropped us of there was spoken to like dirt, They turned the cameras onto our tent ( sorry but our tent was worth more then most of the caravans on there 🤣) Horses the poor things were in horrible condition not sure if its the sites or not but either way still on there land, Couldn't shower my toddlers while there they would of screamed place down. Ended up having to go of site everyday to sort food etc costing us £100s. Was nothing but judged even tho sorry that camp site wasnt the best. Have informed my bank as I want my money back this was a waste of money and will never go back again. A few other people on the site said the same thing.

One night stop on the way to Isle of Man. Lovely small site, decent facilities, clean and near the canal. Pub, the Clifford Arms, short walk away who weren’t serving food as it was a Monday but suggested we ordered a delivery takeaway and eat it at the pub, how nice is that! 🤩

Such a shame about the toilet and washing facilities 1 toilet and 1 shower for each male and female. 30+ units in that section of site. Not that I saw many people using them, way to cold. On the plus side great location, not far from Shugborough Hall, Staffordshire county showground and very close to canal.very quiet site, plenty of room between units on the hardstanding.Love the fact no bright lights at night time. If the toilets and showers could be sorted out, ot would be perfect

Super campsite with rustic shower and toilet facilities which were kept very clean and tidy by a lovely cleaner who is a credit to the campsite, the owner was very laid back and very nice, pitches were big, well kept and big bonus point was the onsite bar and hot food stall at weekends, you can also hire firepits and buy packs of wood, great addition. Local town was a 10 minute walk with pubs and shop, nearby there is a great deli and cafe, loads of walks around canals all make this a highly recommended site.
