What an unforgettable Glamping experience with Alpacas and a touch of outdoor luxury. This new glamping campsite set on the outskirts of the Peak District is an absolute hidden gem and offers a perfect mix of countryside charm and thoughtful luxury. From the moment we arrived, everything felt calm, welcoming, and beautifully designed. The glamping accommodation is stylish, cosy, and immaculately clean, with a comfortable bed and a real sense of privacy. Having proper shower and toilet facilities on site made the stay feel effortless, while still keeping that close‑to‑nature experience that glamping does best. One of the standout features is the outdoor spa bath. Soaking in warm water while surrounded by fresh air and peaceful views was incredibly relaxing, especially in the evening. It felt indulgent without being over the top – a real highlight of the stay. The alpacas are simply wonderful. Being able to feed them was a unique and memorable experience, and it’s clear they are very well cared for. They’re friendly, gentle, and full of character, and the host takes time to make sure everyone feels comfortable interacting with them. It adds something truly special that you won’t find at most campsites. Food lovers will appreciate the organic food package, which was thoughtfully put together and full of fresh, high‑quality produce. Cooking outdoors on the grill made meals feel like part of the experience rather than a chore, and there’s nothing better than enjoying good food under open skies. The host is warm, knowledgeable, and clearly passionate about what they’ve created. Every detail feels considered, from the facilities to the experiences offered, without the site ever feeling crowded or commercial. We're hiking end to end of the UK. Not LEJOG but Eastbourne to Cape Wrath. We needed to get from the end of Offa's Dyke to Edale to start the Pennine Way. Discovered the North Cheshire Way and this new campsite is perfectly positioned at the end of the NCW in Disley. It's billed as a wild camping site but it has a nicely decorated shower area. You just need to boil some water and use a bucket to feed the little electric shower. It also has a nice portaloo. So it's not quite wild camping but a good introduction to that, especially for kids. There's a garage nearby too for supplies. You can even get stuff for the fire pit if you like. Plus there are Alpacas there that the owner, Chris, let's you feed! About a mile up the road towards Edale are shops and cafes at New Mills. Fabulous night camping. Thank you Chris!

I have never been around this area before and this camp sight served as a good base. Not too far driving to get to popular hikes like Kinder Scout and the B29 crash sight, which I did whilst staying here. Very peaceful and good views. I will be returning next time I am in the area.

We had a lovely time visiting the Alpacas at Disley Meadow. Jet, Blondie, Bear and Data were really calm. We fed them and took Blondie and Jet on a nice walk around the field which is surrounded by glorious views. A good afternoon and the sun was shining!
