Bobby's Ice Cream Parlour

What amazing experiences we've had here!! Hearty food, with every element on our plates cooked to perfection. Even the fussiest eaters amongst us have thoroughly enjoyed Nana Dot's special. The ice-cream was delicious and surroundings beautifully bougie. It's one thing having a lovely visit somewhere, but for them to keep it up every time you return is five star in my book! Shout out to Melissa the manager, you deserve a raise!! ☺️ Can't wait head there again!!

We moved to the local area last summer and discovered Bobby’s on social media, and we’re so glad we did. Since then, it’s become our go-to spot—whether we have family or friends visiting, or we’re just at a loose end over lunch. The service is incredible, the food portions are generous, and the cakes and ice cream are outstanding. The atmosphere is warm and friendly, with real family-run vibes that make you feel instantly welcome. The girls are always so kind, welcoming, and can’t do enough for you—it really makes every visit special. And of course, the cute animals are a lovely bonus… especially the donkeys! 🫏 This place is a real little gem. Please never change or become commercial—we’ll definitely be regulars for a long time to come.

Great experience staff we're brilliant and friendly. Ordered the special offer £20 for two plus cups of tea, arrived very quickly and piping hot. Really enjoyed the breakfast, and will definitely visit again. On leaving decided to buy cakes from the shop. wow great selection well worth a visit in the summer as the range of ice creams.

First time coming to Bobby's ice cream parlour, very disappointed. The wait time to be served was very slow, ( we only went for ice cream) there was no one behind the counter. We went out to sit in the outside area where there are animals. A goat had got it's head stuck in the wire fencing, I reported this and no one came out to release it. It lay there bleating the whole time we were there. Very distressing to see and for kids to see aswell... the fence was the wrong kind for those kind of animal with horns. The animals had noting to eat, (probably why they put their heads through the wire to get some grass) the grass was eaten down and there was no hay in any of the animal enclosures. What little water they had was dirty. The gate to the kids play area didn't shut, it just swung open which was very dangerous as cars were coming past to get to the car park. The bins in the kids area was overflowing with dirty nappies on the floor. The toilet outside was falling apart. And not maintained. Needless to say I won't be going back. I think animal welfare need to intervene where the animals are concerned 😡
