Pershbrook Cottage

Photo: Pershbrook Cottage

Walking into Pershbrook Cottage means stepping straight into a kitchen and dining room built around a woodburner, with space to cook proper meals and a table for everyone to gather around. The living room opens onto a garden with River Severn views; four sofas face the second woodburner. Upstairs, four bedrooms spread across the first floor—two doubles with access to a veranda each, one twin room and one single—along with two bathrooms, one featuring a roll-top bath.

The garden wraps around the property with a lawned area and enclosed courtyard, barbecue and furniture for sitting outside. There's parking for ten cars on the driveway. One dog stays free. Electricity, heating, bed linen, towels and wi-fi are all included. The property suits families or groups needing multiple bedrooms and separate spaces; a pub is within a mile. The river runs alongside the garden unfenced, which matters if you're bringing young children.

We had a lovely stay at Mike’s Cottage. It was spotlessly clean, well-equipped with everything we needed, and really felt like a home away from home. The fresh cut flowers on the table were such a thoughtful touch and made the cottage feel extra welcoming. The hosts were fantastic, responding to messages very quickly and making everything easy from start to finish. We were staying in the area for a funeral, so having somewhere so private, peaceful, and comfortable meant a lot to us during a difficult time. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and wouldn’t hesitate to return. Highly recommended!

Great place to stay! Stayed with friends and plenty of room for doing your own thing. Bedrooms and bathrooms are great size and all very clean. Downstairs well equipped with extra fridge freezers in laundry room. The sunrises over the Bore are fantastic Plenty of books and games do don't even need to turn on tv. Close to Gloucester Quay for shopaholics, history buffs or just a great walk.

An absolutely beautiful cottage that overlooks the river. The inside is a mixture of old fashioned and modern with four bedrooms and two huge bathrooms upstairs, and two balconies. The down stairs is compromised of a nice living room and a kitchen with a dining table. Very well kept and maintained. Looking forward to come back here soon.
