Aspen Country Park

We stayed here as a family of 5 in the Elite Spa Plus Lodge from the 10th of April to the 17th and had a brilliant time. A lovely place to chill out and within a 5 minute drive to local woods and dog walks where we were able to give our pups a good run out. There are many Pubs within a 5-10 minute drive, we stopped at The Tollgate and enjoyed the sun in their garden with the dogs. There is also Tesco nearby and a small high street, all within driving distance. Just do your research in advance. The hosts were extremely welcoming with a phonecall a few days before arrival to ensure everything was set, and complimentary Proseco and beers in the fridge on arrival. It was good to see a maintenance team keeping on top of the general jobs. This maintains the feel and look of the place and lodges. The hot tub was also a great touch with daily maintenance of these too. All staff that we spoke with were very welcoming and helpful too. Overall we could not fault our stay. We never normally leave a review but its worthy of it. I would definitely recommend the Spa Plus over just the spa lodge due to the size and living room area. Thanks again for our stay ! We will be back.

We met up with my daughter and family for a 3 day holiday. The lodge was lovely, clean, and had everything we needed. The country park was quiet, and ideal for walking the dog. Owners were very friendly. Would definitely go again.

100% honest review I had an absolutely lovely stay here at Aspen County park, the lodge was so clean and tidy and the hot tub was a real bonus feature. It was so nice to relax on the decking with the sun setting, the lodges are really well spread out so it felt really nice and peaceful. The manager was so amazing, she was very welcoming, she gave me all the information about where I could go to get food and including places in the area I could go, service with a smile goes a long way so to have such great hospitality when arriving was so nice!! I will definitely be coming back and I highly recommend this lovely country park to stay.

2nd time visiting here and it definitely won’t be the last. Everything was supplied in the lodge that we needed. Hot tub was great, just what we needed and it stayed at temperature for ages. Full size fridge freezer was a bonus too. Everything was clean and the beds were really comfy and had the most snuggly duvets on. The outside light near the hot tub didn’t work (just left bedroom light on) the tap in the twin room squirted across the room (don’t open it fully). Nothing to stop us enjoying our trip. Staff were really friendly and helpful. See you again soon.
