About Green Haven Holidays - IP19

Green Haven Holidays is a campground in Rumburgh, a village in the heart of Suffolk. The site has showers, and unusually for a campsite, Clean Canines dog-grooming facility is just a few steps away—handy if you need to freshen up your dog before or after a break.

The location is genuinely remote countryside, so you will need a car to reach restaurants, shops or attractions. It suits people who want to pitch and use the facilities without frills, and anyone with pets will appreciate the grooming service on the doorstep.

Nice little campsite. Ideal if you prefer somewhere smaller and less crowded. Flat field, choice of spots and the owners assured us that they never fully fill it. Electric hook up available if needed. Small campervans and caravans catered for. Toilet and shower block kept clean and tidy. There are only 2 toilets and 2 showers, so you may have a bit of a wait during busy periods. Hot showers are 50p for 7 mins which is plenty. Fire pits available to hire, along with with fire kits with everything you need for an evening fire, though we found the wood selection contained mostly small branches that whilst they were dry, we harder to burn than proper split logs. Little shop on site with fresh bread most days that we saw, along with fridge/freezer available for campers to use. Hosts very friendly and happy to help where needed. Great little pub 10 min stroll down the road. We enjoyed our time here and would be happy to come again should we return to the area.

Lovely and quiet campsite with good facilities. Showers are 50p (coin in slot) for 7 minutes hot water. The showers and toilets are very clean and well maintained. Small shop on site which is self service, you write what you have taken and pop cash in the tin. You can find some walks across the fields but you do have to walk a little way on the roads to get to them, the roads were pretty quiet during our stay. Price for a pitch with ehu is very reasonable. Very relaxed and friendly owners which very much increased the enjoyment of our stay. This is our second stay here and it won't be our last.

Great place to stay, very clean and welcoming, a small site with no noise after 10 pm observed by all, plenty of dog walks, pub about 10 minutes walk away where folk, wind music played most nights, food also very good. Camp site is one we definitely would revisit
