Waveney Wild Woods and Camp

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We exclusively hired the campsite for my 40th birthday celebration, and it was one of the best decisions we could have made. Having the whole site to ourselves created such a relaxed, private atmosphere where everyone could switch off and enjoy the weekend together. If you’re considering exclusive hire for a special occasion, I couldn’t recommend it more highly. It’s an ideal venue for a larger group, with a great mix of accommodation including the cottages, Shepherd’s Huts and camping pitches. It meant everyone could choose the type of accommodation that suited them while still spending the whole weekend together. From start to finish, the hosts went above and beyond to make everything run so smoothly. Nothing was too much trouble, and their warmth and hospitality made everyone feel incredibly welcome. The surprise birthday cake and bottles of Prosecco were such a thoughtful gesture and a really lovely touch that made the weekend feel even more special. The children’s tuck shop was also a huge hit with everyone and added to the friendly, family atmosphere that makes this place so special. We’re still talking about what a fantastic weekend it was, and our group chat has already turned into a discussion about booking the whole campsite again next year - which probably says everything! We made some wonderful memories, and that’s thanks in no small part to the fantastic hosts. A huge thank you again for your kindness, generosity and hospitality. We can’t wait to come back.

​⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Absolute Stargazer’s Heaven! ​The Wildings at Elms Meadow is such a quaint, rustic gem in Norfolk. The pitch sizes are incredibly generous, and having your own little picnic table right on your spot is such a thoughtful, lovely touch. ​When weather conditions allow, nothing beats gathering around a cozy campfire or firing up a BBQ as the evening sets in. But the real magic happens after sunset when the clouds part, the night sky is breathtaking. It is pure stargazer heaven! ​To top off all that natural charm, the toilets and showers are wonderfully clean and well-maintained. We loved every minute of our stay and can’t wait to return.

We had a wonderful stay at this campsite. It’s absolutely beautiful and incredibly tidy, with private pitches and great facilities that cover all the essentials you could want. Not having the car right by the pitch really enhances the relaxing, peaceful atmosphere. The kids’ playhouse was perfect for our little boy, and the surrounding area is truly gorgeous. The owners couldn’t have been more accommodating, making us feel welcome from start to finish. We’re already looking forward to returning.

Highly recommend. Lovely campsite, Beautifully kept with lots of nature to explore, Nice clean facilities with an added bonus of a communal kitchen, fire pits, fire wood, marshmallows are available from an honestly shop. Family and dog friendly with a little playhouse to keep children entertained, Each pitch is nice and private, The owners are helpful and very accommodating, a lovely family. Second year visiting and will definitely been returning next summer.
