What visitors say
The campground is flat and the pitches are large BUT there is one male, one female and one disabled toilet at the tent end of the site and I don't know who designed them but they clearly had never used a toilet. They are as small as physically possible. You can hardly turn around in them (and I'm small). You're supposed to allow 60cm in front of a loo for leg room. Not here! Also, they are not waterproof so be prepared to get damp if it's raining. The locks are hard to operate. The (2) showers are the same size so don't expect anywhere to keep clothes dry (water was warm though). One sink for all loos and it's totally open so if you need to put contacts in, expect to share with people washing their hands doing teeth etc, while battling wind and rain (soap ran out each day). One sink for washing dishes so prepare to wait. I will balance this by saying there are some enclosed loos and not free showers at the other end of the site, but those are clearly mostly aimed at the large touring caravan section. I didn't see any staff so can't comment on how helpful they are. It's closer to the beach and it's peaceful. It's just got really, really bad facilities...

Absolutely LOVE this site. I think this is our 3rd visit and it just gets better! The modifications made to the toilets to make them a little bigger are definitely an improvement. Also the modifications made to the system that heats the free showers is very welcome and worked a treat.. no more cold shower just because it's a bit windy! Such a peaceful site and so beautifully maintained. The location near the stunning beach is in my opinion unbeatable and the simple charging structure makes it a no brainer. Absolutely no question in our minds, we WILL be back AGAIN & AGAIN!

Just a last minute one night stay at Bennar Farm and honestly, me and the poodles loved it. Such a peaceful site with stunning views all around and a really relaxed atmosphere from the moment we arrived. The boys were straight into exploring and I spent most of the evening just taking it all in. It’s one of those places that makes you slow down properly for a bit. Perfect base for the mountains, the coast and nearby walks, but equally lovely just staying on site and enjoying the scenery. We’ll definitely be back for longer next time.

A fantastic campsite 5 mins walk from a huge beach. All dog friendly. Everything is clean. Pitches are generous & flat. 20 mins walk to a train station with trains up & down the coast. I'll definitely be returning.
