Downash Wood Treehouses

Stayed here for a couple nights with my other half. We had a wonderful time, the Oakey Koakey treehouse was exactly as described. You can tell the design was well thought out and every piece of furniture was mindful. It was easy to get to, the instructions left were very clear. We especially enjoyed the outdoor seating on the balcony of an evening, very relaxing. The pizza oven and fire pit were great additions. We would definitely stay again.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay here celebrating a significant anniversary. It was so quiet, peaceful. The treehouse was incredibly well equipped. We had everything we needed. We ordered a food parcel for our arrival which was excellent too. We will definitely return

My husband and I stayed here for our minimoon - we wanted a romantic break near London and the Coddiwomple Cabin certainly delivered! It was comfortable and modern, and it was incredible to sit in the hot tub at night and hear the birds in the trees and look up at the stars. We also enjoyed meals at two local pubs, The Bell and The Bull, and we hiked around Bewl Water Reservoir, what an incredibly scenic place. Highly recommended!

We've just come back from an amazing long weekend in the Coddiwomple Cabin. It was exactly as described with a couple of hidden extras.....speakers built into the ceiling so we could connect a phone and listen to music, and a hairdryer in the bedside drawer. Everything was clean when we arrived with fresh towels on the bed, and the complimentary cookies, milk and fresh apple juice were a lovely addition. It was great to have a choice of chair style out on the decking, and to be able to cook on the bbq/fire pit. The hot tub is so relaxing to spend a few hrs in of an evening. We personally enjoyed a couple of drinks at The Bull which is a traditional pub up the road, a trip around Bodiam Castle which took less than 20 mins to get to, a walk around Bewl Water which is only a few mins drive and lunch at Hawkhurst Farm Fisheries which is also only 15 mins away. This is our 2nd visit to Downash and we wouldn't hesitate to come back another time for a long weekend 😊
