What diners say
Absolutely loved our experience here. We started with miso soup, edamame, chicken gyoza and prawn tempura — and honestly, the starters alone were already a win. Everything was fresh, full of flavour and perfectly cooked. But the sushi is where this place really shines. You can genuinely tell it’s freshly made — soft, well-balanced rice and fresh, buttery fish. We tried a mix of nigiri, salmon and spicy tuna rolls, prawn tempura rolls and some dragon rolls, and every plate was consistently good. For all-you-can-eat sushi under £30, the quality is impressive. Great value, great atmosphere and definitely a spot I’d return to. Highly recommend if you’re in Tooting Broadway and craving proper sushi. Follow nellysworldoftaste on Instagram, Facebook, YouTube and TikTok

Lovely dinner, beautiful sushi layout and very fresh fish, big portion! It’s in a food market near Tooting underground station, different as the other Japanese restaurants, it’s more bazaar style, you can even order Ramen or other food from other stores to eat in one place. My boys love it!

Apart from waiting an awfully long time to have the fish delivered to the restaurant, prepared and cooked, despite arriving at opening times, turned out to be best sushi I’ve had in a long time. Many sushi variations, plus soup starters. They didn’t have the cocktail I wanted so went for something else which still went down a treat. Despite not the best service, food was impressive and I would go again, in hope the service would be better.

For Tsukiji Sushi Fusion, the experience was genuinely excellent. We went for the all you can eat menu, which is served as a generous platter allowing you to try a wide selection from the menu first. From there, you can reorder any items you like, in any quantity. The concept works really well and feels relaxed rather than rushed. The food was outstanding. The fish was very fresh, the rice was flavourful and well balanced, and the fried items were incredibly crispy and light. The tempura was spot on, perfectly crunchy without feeling greasy. Everything tasted well prepared and consistent throughout. The service was excellent. The staff were extremely friendly and welcoming. One of us does not like spicy food and they kindly adjusted the rolls, preparing them without anything spicy. That flexibility and attention to detail were genuinely appreciated. The value for money is very strong. For a London all you can eat menu done properly, without shortcuts, the quality to price ratio is excellent. We left fully satisfied and genuinely impressed. One tip: order the takoyaki and repeat it. 🤤 Great food, excellent service and very fair pricing. I would happily return without hesitation.
