What visitors say
Just got back from an absolutely brilliant stay at Sand Le Mere and had to leave a review. The kids' entertainment was amazing the whole time we were there, but a massive shout-out has to go to Mason. He went completely out of his way to make a big effort with my son and honestly made our holiday so special. My son absolutely loved him, and that kind of effort from the staff really makes all the difference when you're away with family. My only real recommendation for the park would be to move the kids' sports day activity to a Tuesday morning instead. Doing it earlier in the week would let the kids get to know each other right at the start, rather than waiting their last day! Otherwise, everything was great. The outdoor play area for the kids is brilliant, and we spent ages in the swimming pool which was excellent too. As for the adults, the bar is really well stocked and the service was lovely and quick every time we went up. We had such a fab time and will definitely be back. Huge thanks to Mason for making it so brilliant for my boy!

So much to do! Swimming (first come first served) in 1 hour blocks, mini golf (extra charge) arcades, sensory room, activity centre, two parks, kids and adult entertainment etc! We took our 1 year old for 15 minutes in the sensory room whilst we waited for the next available swimming slot - and he loved it!! Perfect for toddlers or older children with SEN. Very friendly staff, from reception to bar staff, entertainers to cleaners. Mentioned to the cleaners about the showers being super hot and she sorted it for us right away! Will be back!

A large Holliday park and a bit too big for us generally, preferring smaller more personal parks. It's definitely popular and very family orientated which is perfect for many. One little complaint is the lack of direct parking outside many caravans, being forced to park away from where your staying on the narrow roads. We have had a great holiday and a perfect few days before we move up to Whitby. Lastly I have to say it's got a brilliant stretch of beach but it's not easy to access so we ended up going to the beach at nearby Withernsea which is well worth a visit and has great fish and chips.

We stayed in dog friendly caravan. Il start with places for improvement. It did have a strong bodily smell for the first hour, but nothing open windows couldnt sort out. There were parts of the caravan that could do with updating like the sofa upholstery and the mattress within it. The two bed situation might as well of been a double as the mattresses were pretty much touching, I would of slept more sounder if it was for fear of falling into the crack. It was clean though, and met our need for the evenings as we were out all day. A bit of a gripe is they have got rid of coins and its all card but i suppose on the flip side your not carrying a ton of change around! And it is the modern world. There was enough to do for my two without spending a huge amount, the park included football. Theres the swimming pool (which would be so much easier if you could book online) which you do have to queue so if it does rain would be a bummer. They up graded the pool and my two loved the slide and the swimming pool, the swimming is for 45mins which again is enough, it does have a sauna and steam room and plenty of seating for spectators and its free with your pass. Theres a beach short walk up the road. We went to hornsea which is 30min drive but a lovely little town to go for the day. Didnt eat in the resteraunt but it was busy. They have activities on for the kids which are free but also paid activities. The staff as a whole were all friendly and approachable. Its not a huge campsite compared to some but lovely none the less.
