Came across this wee tea room while out a drive. Sat outside as the view was lovely. We got a hot chocolate a cold drink and salad rolls. The food was good and hot chocolate was delicious. Staff were friendly and chatty. Will definitely visit again.

Arrived at 4.15 pm. Three other tables were occupied. Only one member of staff on duty. Other tables had orders taken. We were totally blanked while she went onto prepare their orders. After they were served the staff member started to remove the cakes from the display. After around 15 minutes we tried to catch the waitress' to which she said "I'll be with you when I can" at which point we decided not to wait any longer as there was no hint of an apology for the long wait. This is not a cheap place where coffees cost nearly £4 and slice cake around £6.50. For these prices I would expect a better level of service. We did not get a chance to sample the food on offer but certainly we will not return.

We stopped by for a quick coffee and cake. A very pleasant place with a nice view. The staff were very friendly and the cake was delicious. The only downside was the double espresso—it was quite watery and had no crema, but that’s probably due to the coffee machine they use. Overall, I highly recommend it!

We stayed here in a camper van over the New Year so we used the tea rooms for eating. The staff were amazing, friendly and great service. The food was delicious.
