Llwynhelig House

Cross the threshold of Llwynhelig House and you enter a substantial Welsh manor arranged across two floors with room to spread out. On the ground floor, a pair of living spaces—one with French doors opening onto the patio—flank a dining room with a wood-burning stove. There's also a study, a fully equipped kitchen, and Bedroom 1 with its own ensuite. Upstairs, five more bedrooms distribute across the first floor: four doubles with ensuites of their own, plus a twin room that shares a bathroom with one of them. Five bathrooms in total means mornings run smoothly even with a large group.

What you get covers the essentials: heating, electricity, bed linen, towels and wifi are all included, along with fuel for the wood burner. An outdoor heated swimming pool sits on the grounds, open from May to October (10:00–20:00). It's shared with other properties on the same site. Parking accommodates three cars, and smoking is not permitted inside.

Cowbridge and its restaurants, shops and cafés are within easy reach. The location suits families or groups wanting space to function independently, with enough sleeping quarters that people needn't double up. The Vale of Glamorgan countryside spreads around you, with coast access nearby.
