What visitors say

We stayed in the Apex glamping pod. Very clean. Very confy bed, bedding supplied. Excelent shower with sink and loo. Kitchen equipment kettle, toaster, microwave and two ring induction hob unit + fridge with freezer compartment.4 folding chairs and dining table all provided. Electric radiator for heating should you need it.( Sofa converts for more sleeping.) Things you need to bring: towels, scissors, sharp food prep knives. Measuring & weighing equipment & grater. Everything else was provided. 😁 Perfect for us as a couple with 2 medium sized dogs. Beautiful view. Easy access. Road behind building and hedge but not noisey.

We stayed at the glamping pod. Small but very nice and beautiful. Naomi was brilliant. However, the visitors staying next to us were very rude, we were sitting next to the fire pit at around 10.30, we we not talking or making any noise at all but the couple next to us came and ask why we were doing a fire at pass 10, that we have to stop because the fire light was going straight to their tent and they needed to be in the dark to sleep. Making all sort of excuses knowing that we were not making any noise at all. They called Naomi and her husband and they pop to talk to us. So we didn’t enjoy and couldn’t stay up because of them. How they cannot understand is a camping and you are allowed to do a fire pit

A recent find and we liked it so much we have already booked to go back. The views are amazing. Although very near a road we were hardly aware of the traffic going by. Extremely friendly owners. Easy access to Bateman's nearby too and the lovely village of Burwash. A very relaxed atmosphere which is just what we were looking for. Some of the pitches are on a slight slope but most camper vans/motorhomes carry levelling blocks of some sort which should sort that out....we didn't actually need them where we were.

Lovely little site. Lovely views. Reasonably priced. Friendly, helpful owners. We were just about ok with the slope in our motorhome but tents were on a slope. Couldn't see anywhere to empty waste water but we are not far from home so emptied when we got back.
