About Crabtree Caravan Site

Snitterfield sits on the edge of Stratford-upon-Avon's orbit, close enough to explore the market town and its Shakespeare heritage without being in the thick of it. Crabtree Caravan Site is a few minutes' walk from Shakespeare's View, and within easy reach of Welcombe Hills Vineyard just up the road.

The site has showers and can accommodate caravans. It is a straightforward base for visitors wanting access to Stratford's attractions—the theatres, museums and riverside walks—without the premium of staying in town itself.

Great place to spend a couple of days exploring Stratford and surrounding area. Site is well kept, spacious and you have a real sense of space. Pitches are well spaced out with electric and water. Toilet and Shower blocks are clean and tidy, with washing facilities for all your needs. Mark was at hand to support if required, and gave us some good tips to explore the local area of Snitterfield. Would highly recommend, and will be back. Many Thanks.

Truly lovely location, near the main roads for easy access but not too noisy atall. Clean facilities, stunning and well maintained small site. Motion sensor lights on pathways which I found very useful. It is a quiet area but just a 15min walk (slowly) into the little village with a well stocked shop including Calor Gas, and a lovely pub. Its a very secure site, you have to know the codes to unlock the gates in, and there is a pedestrian gate for easy access but it’s kind of hidden- as a solo traveler with my dog it’s great to feel safe while relaxing. I am already looking to book again. Highly recommend!

Stayed for the second time in one of Marck’s shepherds huts , this time we had our own personal plunge pool and sauna :) which I have to say was amazing 🤩 The huts are cosy and warm , huge bed very comfy and all you need for a lovely few nights away , it’s peaceful in an old apple grove and the sun rise and setting is beautiful to see it’s clean and an ideal place to stay to explore Warwick , Stratford and lem , Marck is a kind and helpful host very knowledgeable and on hand to help ❤️

Only stopped for one night on route north, ideal location near to the M40 beautiful well maintained site, definitely one of the best we been on. Large individual pitches. Only one loo was a bit of a nuisance as is the steps as they need a white defining edge for safety. That said great site thanks hope to be back again.
