About Twitey's Tipis and Campsite

Twitey's Tipis and Campsite offers both traditional tipis and conventional camping pitches on Lowe Farm Lane in Warwickshire, making it an unusual choice for anyone curious about tipi stays without the full glamping commitment. The site accommodates both tipi guests and those bringing their own tents, so you can either experience canvas living under canvas or pitch as normal.

Showers are available on site. The location sits within reach of Warwick, one of England's most famous castle towns, making this a practical base for exploring the area if you want something less formal than a hotel.

I was going to share a review of Twitey's campsite regardless but felt even more compelled too after hearing about the very recent and unexpected passing of Mike, the owner. Whilst the family could've closed for the season after such an awful loss, they have chosen to carry on and honour bookings for the summer. Everyone we met was so personable and wonderful, when they must be going through such a difficult and trying time. When we arrived we were instantly bowled over by the landscaping of the site and the beauty in the surroundings. It came as no surprise to find out as we were leaving that the owner was a landscaper, it really does shine through. It's just a gorgeous site, with great amenities and various options for your stay. Whilst my family camped, my sister and hers stayed in the garden yurt (fab luxury camping option!) and we all had a truly fantastic stay. We honestly can't thank the team enough and want to pass on our best wishes for the future and also our condolences on the passing of Mike, who was clearly very passionate and talented, creating such a gorgeous, peaceful haven.

A lovely campsite in the Warwickshire countryside. It was recommended to us by the cycling book Lost Lanes and was a great place to stay. Four of us and a toddler stayed for a few nights. Cars are parked away from pitches and wheelbarrows are a great tool to get gear moved about. The toilets and showers were of a good standard and clean. The oversized pitches we booked were spacious, the scenery beautiful, and the pizza van on Saturday a real highlight. The owner and staff were really friendly and helpful and we couldn't have asked for a better place to begin a cycling adventure.

Lovely campsite with a real camping in a wildflower meadow vibe. Wake up to the dawn chorus. I recommend trying an app for identifying bird song. No dogs and cars are seperate from the camping fields so no feel of camping in a car park as many places. Great for kids to be able to run around.
