Common Leys Farm Certificated Location

We stayed in "country cottage" on the 27/28th Sept 2025.it was very roomy and extremely well appointed sympathetically with all mod cons.The bed was very comfortable. The cottage was set in a beautiful courtyard, and the surrounding grounds were spectacular and peaceful. Our hosts,Allie and Doug,were very warm,welcoming,and helpful.As were the guests and locals in the bar. We had a very enjoyable and pleasant stay and would thoroughly recommend staying here. Used the tourer caravan site, toilet and shower facilities, very clean, friendly owners, nice quiet location.

I was looking for somewhere nice and relaxing to stay for myself and my partners birthday weekend that was close enough to the Abingdon fireworks display. I stumbled upon this place and the reviews already speak for themselves but we were blown away. We stayed in the hunting lodge which is expertly decorated I was in awe of how tasteful the décor was, everything was immaculately clean and we had plenty of space and it was great to stay somewhere that didn't have the standard double bed. Also however many times you look at the images of the bath tub it won't do it justice, me and my 6'2 partner fit comfortably and relaxed in the tub with a drink it was the perfect way to relax and wind down the evening we arrived. The bed was perfectly comfortable, the tea and coffee facilities were helpful and we took some snacks with us too. As we had other things planned we didn't get to enjoy the room as much as we would have liked to. We were lucky enough to be there for one of the to be staying while one of the open shoots were on, fantastic experience with really helpful, friendly support from the professionals it was a perfect addition to my partners birthday weekend as it is something he enjoys, the guidance meant I surprised myself and managed to shoot way more of the clay pigeons than I imagined. I am hoping we get to make time to plan another trip to the farm, there's not many places I am keen to repeat visit, but I really can't wait to go just to relax and enjoy this wonderful place.
