Saxby's Cider and Grange Farm Pick Your Own Pumpkins

Saxby's Cider is a total hidden gem! Located in a beautifully rustic setting, this bar has such a cool, relaxed atmosphere that makes you feel a world away from everything. The converted barn space is stunning—exposed wooden beams, cozy rugs, and that charming brick bar really set the mood. It’s incredibly family-friendly; we brought a baby and felt totally welcome. Plus, the outdoor space and general vibe mean you can bring your dog along too (our pup loved the car ride there!). The cider is crisp and delicious, served in cool branded cups, and the pizza was the perfect accompaniment. Honestly, the ideal spot for a lazy afternoon with friends and family. A must-visit if you’re looking for somewhere with character and great drinks!"

Great food, but if you change the order of service around, so pick up your plate, etc 1st, then had the items that need to be weighed, then the other items pies, Scotch eggs with bread at the end. It might help with the flow. Plus cakes at the start where we queued seemed odd. Plus any chance of an espresso machine at all. Instant coffee isn't to everyone's taste. Plus need to come when its better weather, dark, damp and wet today, not the best time to eat outside.

Went for a Cidery Tour, stayed for the fantastic cider, chilled out place to have a selection of ciders and enjoy the sunshine on a Saturday afternoon. All the staff welcoming and friendly and prices reasonable. Don't forget to check out their special events for tours and other interesting things.

Pumpkin picking was great. Various food and drink stalls, a couple of rides for the kids, and a tractor ride though the fields. It was a lovely easy to spend a couple of hours. And of course I had to bring some of their famous cider home 😁
