Gatwick Caravan and Motorhome Club Site

Use this facility for storing our motorhome. It comes with service bay/ wash point ( need to be booked in advance ) . Fill up water and empty waste. Good knowing our MH is safe while not using it.

As C&M members, we stupidly thought we could empty our toilet cassette at a C&M site. We drove the suspension-wrecking route to the Gatwick site in our Moho and were turned away by a member of staff. "You can't use the cassette emptying without staying here because it encourages Wild-Camping". So much for "Member Benefits". If anyone can explain C&M logic on Wild-Camping and how turning members away for such a trivial request, I'm all ears. I suggest that it encourages the dumping of cassettes in public toilets, or worse. Also the site was 100% full (according to their sign) so there was Zero option for us. I know C&M enjoy their rules (heaven forbid you aren't parked exactly between the white sticks) but I'd hope they could bend such a trivial rule for a paid-up member.

Very disappointed I stayed this Sunday, the 1st of March unfortunately I have been given the runaround from a lady who answered the phone in Brighton that morning sent me on a wild goose trace when I got to Gatwick I was informed they were full but they could park me on the pavement which I agreed to as I’ve got nowhere to stay when I was charged £39 to listen to planes flying in and out of the airport to me was totally stressful. I would never stop at Gatwick caravan club again in my lifetime to say the least I was so disappointed it made me think why am I paying my subscriptions?
