What visitors say
Camped here over the half term on my family's maiden trip with our new tent. The site is spacious and well kept and the facilities are great! I really appreciated the curfew time of 10pm - the site was quiet and settled easily by half ten, perfect when you have kids. Showers and wash facilities were clean, and the food shed has some lovely pizzas. I love this area and there are some great visits and walks in the locality. I would love to visit again!

Lovely friendly staff. The little shop on site is great, full of sustainable products and everything you need for your camping trip. The camping fields are wide and spacious with a good playground if you're that way out. Some of the motorhome/caravan spots seem very close to other pitches. Where we were sited was great - no kids, no parties or groups, nice and quiet by the river. However that field is overlooked by houses which gave a slightly weird vibe. I think it's probably best for families in tents

This is a fantastic campsite of which we have stayed at many times. Ideal if you've got a gig at The Picturedrome. Great pitches lots of room, the river side plots are superb. Staff are great, friendly and helpful. All amenities are very clean and well kept. The pizzas at the food hut have a great reputation. Easier to walk into Holmfirth for various pubs & restaurants. We're back in June for another gig. Lots of friendly ducks as well 5*****.

Great Stay at Willow Cabin (Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park) We recently stayed at Willow Cabin, a lovely little spot tucked away inside Holme Valley Camping & Caravan Park. (Note on the photos: Please keep in mind that all the attached pictures were taken after our stay as we were packing up—everything was exceptionally clean and immaculate when we first arrived!) The Cabin & Our Private Area: The wooden Willow Cabin sits beautifully nestled among the trees, offering a wonderful sense of privacy while still being close to the main site facilities. Inside, the beds were very comfortable, and there was a nice setup with a table and chairs, a fridge, a cooker, a microwave, and plenty of cooking utensils. It also has its own clean, private toilet and shower right inside, which was a massive plus. Outside, we had our own dedicated decking area to relax, complete with an outdoor table and chairs, a BBQ, and plenty of parking right by the accommodation. A really thoughtful touch was the little tea candles already placed in the outside lamps, making the evenings feel incredibly cozy. Even on a night when England was playing in the World Cup, the area stayed remarkably quiet and peaceful! The Campsite & Amenities: The wider site is brilliant, very well-maintained, and accommodates everything from tents to caravans and mobile homes. Food & Drink (The Camping Stove): A huge bonus on-site is "The Camping Stove" takeaway hub! They serve fresh coffee, Yorkshire tea, hot chocolate, and cold drinks. On weekends, they do a great breakfast menu with breakfast rolls and croissants (8:30–10:30 AM), and in the evenings, they serve fantastic authentic Italian pizzas and chips (5:30–7:30 PM), complete with vegetarian and vegan options and a selection of cakes for something sweet. Family & Kids' Play Area: It is incredibly kid-friendly. The dedicated play area is safely enclosed by a fence and set on a soft woodchip surface, featuring an excellent wooden climbing frame, a slide, and a popular basket swing that the kids absolutely loved. The site also provides disabled-friendly areas. Pets: It's great for dog owners, featuring designated dog-friendly zones alongside specific areas where dogs aren't allowed, keeping a great balance for everyone. Nature & Relaxation: The surroundings are beautiful and safe, with lifebuoys placed near the water features. There are lovely nature walks, scenic areas to relax by the ponds and small streams, places to fish, and great spots to just watch nature or feed the ducks. Facilities: There are clean public toilets and showers, taps for fresh drinking water, and an on-site shop for essentials. Location: The location couldn't be better. While you feel nicely immersed in nature, the site is very close to local towns and activities, with a lot to see and do within just a five-minute walk. Highly recommend this spot for anyone looking for a peaceful, well-equipped, and family-friendly getaway! Thank you - Craig Barnby 10th to the 12th of July.
