About Top Field Certificated Site
Top Field sits in high moorland country above Haworth, on the edge of the South Pennines. This is walking territory, with open hills rising directly from the site and access to some of the region's best-known trails across the moors. The landscape here is characteristically bleak and windswept, popular with those seeking serious countryside rather than seaside charm.
It is a small, no-frills operation offering basic pitches and shower facilities. The site caters to campers who want to be out on the hills rather than settled on a manicured lawn – the kind of place where you pitch, then disappear into the Pennine landscape for the day. The Flappit pub is just down the road, and Haworth itself, famous for its literary heritage and cobbled high street, is within reach for an evening visit or resupply.

Lisa was so helpful and accommodated us last minute. Drinking water, electric hookup, Elsan disposal and grey waste - basics and that’s all we needed. A lovely dog walk if you turn right out of the site and left over the hill and you can walk into town in 25 minutes. The road is pretty scary as there’s no pavement, but we made it and got a taxi at night. Would recommend using the BRONTE taxi. We ate at Pavé - which was amazing and had a take away delivered from Kiyans - the best Indian take away that we’ve ever had!!

Beautiful site. Clean, tidy and secluded. Can hear the main road but not an issue. Easy walk into Harworth. Highly recommend this site.
