Not the friendliest of faces that greets you at the door. The place is clean but very aged. Shower and sink hot water was actually scalding and shower couldn't be turned down to the point it couldn't be used.

This place is great If attending an event at the hotel opposite. The place is full of character, with lovely unique decor. Very interesting. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfy. Just nice little touches in the room too like ear plugs, tissues, tin of flapjacks etc. And lovely owners

We had a brilliant overnight stay to celebrate my brother's wedding. We occupied 5 of the rooms for either one or two nights. Breakfast was delicious and the hosts could not do enough for us. Would highly recommend and will definitely be back.

Very nice place, we only stayed one night but it was definitely worth it. Its a place just a cut above the average even fairly nice b&b with a very nice room and lots of really nice little touches (liked the homemade flapjacks in the pot!). Would stay again and recommend it. It's very deceiving from the outside just how nice it is.
