Sunny Oak Caravan Park

Sunny oak farm is situated on a busy road, when we are tucked up in our caravan at night, you don't hear the traffic. This site is for seasonal pitches now. Bill and his family are really welcoming and nothing ever too much for them. The toilet block and washing facilities could do with more lighting, also a shower would be great in the disabled room. We will be coming back to this site next year. The Willeylock Tavern is just at the back of the site, lovely meals and really friendly staff.

Convenient location and excellent hosts who can't do enough for you. The toilets and showers are spotless and there is also a washing machine and dryer should the weather be inclement. Lovely canal walk with the pub serving a chilled glass of wine at reasonable prices. We also loved the fact it was child-free but lots of dogs. Perfect!

We recently visited Sunny Oak for a one night stay. Upon arrival the lady was lovely giving us all the details and telling us about the facilities on site, toilets, wash areas etc. Upon arriving and going to our pitch we realised that we were just behind the main gate which is directly off the A49 Tarporley Road, the traffic was constant throughout the day and night. There was no way you could relax in the peaceful surroundings. We couldn’t understand why there were so many statics caravans on site with the noise coming from the road. It’s not a peaceful site. The facility block was excellent, clean. The site is however a stones throw from the canal and a little pub, whereby the noise of the road disappears. The pub is only open for a few hours in the afternoon and again in the evening. It was very popular for food and the chips looked and smelt delicious. We wouldn’t return only because of the road noise which unfortunately will only get worse, due to the general increase of cars on the road.

Stayed at this site a few times and we have really enjoyed ourselves even though it got a bit wet. The on site facilities are always clean and are maintained to a very high standard. Short walk from the pub, which serves home cooked food. Lastly the owners are amazing. Made us feel very welcome and nothing is ever too much trouble. We will continue to come here.
