About Berry Bank Farm Camping
Tucked into a working farm near Wildboarclough, Berry Bank Camping puts you right on the doorstep of the Peak District's western fringe. Shutlingsloe—often called Cheshire's Matterhorn—is close enough for a morning scramble, while Three Shires Head and the renowned Blaze Ice Cream Farm both make easy day trips. The site itself keeps things simple: campfires are encouraged, dogs roam freely, and there's drinking water and loos, though you'll need to be self-sufficient for showers.
It's this back-to-basics approach that wins people over. Reviewers consistently praise the warm welcome from the farming family, the peaceful setting, and the freedom to pitch where you like across generous grass fields. If you want polished facilities and WiFi, look elsewhere—but for those after a genuine farm stay with stellar Peak District access, Berry Bank delivers.

What visitors say
Booking done at ease through their Facebook page. Booked two nights. Amanda was brilliant. Due to arriving late she let us crack on with pitching up and caught up in the morning. Amanda explained all the routes via the farms land. We hiked shutlingsloe hill. The pub down the road for food was brilliant also. Next day we went for farm next door for ice cream which was delicious. This place is a bargain the toilets are clean. Hot water. And stunning views. Love you can leave the car there and walk Lud’s church and three shires.

Stayed here last night, hosts are lovely and welcoming. Cheap price, quiet, bench and firepit on site, toilets, and washing up basin. Sheltered area to cook if need be. Great for birding whilst having dinner

Beautifully simple! We stayed for 1 night mid-week and had the place to ourselves. There's water, benches, a covered cooking area, and a very well kept and clean toilet block. The views are great and the farm yard animals adorable. Couldn't ask for more for such a low price. Hope to be back again one day

Lovely campsite with gorgeous views and welcoming hosts. No showers but nice well-kept toilets and a short walk from Three Shire's Head. Highly recommend.
