Wyre Country Park - Wyre Retreat

A detached lodge built on a single level, Wyre Retreat stands within Wyre Country Park with views across the estuary. The whole place is yours—two bedrooms, one bathroom, sleeping four. One bedroom has a double bed with an ensuite shower; the other has two single beds. The main bathroom includes a bath as well as a shower cubicle.

An open-plan living and dining space dominates the ground floor, with patio doors leading to a decking area where garden furniture is set out. The kitchen is properly equipped for cooking—gas hob, electric oven, dishwasher, microwave and fridge-freezer all there—plus a separate utility room with a washing machine. Wi-Fi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. There is parking on site for two cars and a front garden with a sitting area. Four steps lead to the entrance.

The park itself has a settled, friendly feel, with both holiday accommodation and permanent residents. Poulton-le-Fylde is nearby for everyday needs, while the Fylde Coast—Fleetwood, Thornton Cleveleys, Lytham St Annes and Blackpool—is within reach for days out. Inland, the Lake District and Forest of Bowland are accessible for longer expeditions. Children under 11 are not able to stay, and smoking is not permitted inside.
