Inverallochy is a historic fishing village where narrow lanes and traditional cottages cluster near the shore, and the North Sea is barely a short walk away. Cotton Shore sits here as a detached former fisherman's cottage, ground-floor only, with off-street parking and an enclosed garden. It sleeps four across two bedrooms: one with a king bed and a Z-bed, the other with two singles. There's one shower room and a kitchen with electric cooking and a fridge-freezer, plus a utility room with a washing machine and dryer. The living space includes a TV with Freesat and a DVD player.
The village itself repays wandering—Maggie's Hoose, a small museum, sits at the end of the street and shows what daily life looked like in a traditional fisherman's cottage. The coastline here rewards exploration: Whitelinks Bay is a six-kilometre walk from the harbour, and further south lie St Combs and the RSPB reserve at Loch of Strathbeg. Inland, Aberdeenshire's castle trail winds through rolling countryside. Fraserburgh has shops and restaurants within easy reach; Aberdeen is an hour away by car. One dog is welcome and stays free. Bed linen, towels and wi-fi are included; a travel cot and highchair are available if needed.
