Cowie Mill Apartment occupies the first floor of a historic mill building in Baird Park, close to Stonehaven's coastal edge. The conversion has created a self-contained space with its own entrance, parking for one car, and all the essentials for an independent stay. A living room with a smart TV sits alongside a kitchen equipped with electric cooking, a fridge-freezer and washer-dryer—enough to manage a week's worth of meals and laundry. The bedroom contains a 5ft kingsize bed, and the bathroom has a bath with shower over it.

Stonehaven itself is a working harbour town with fish restaurants, independent shops and a pebbly beach within walking distance. The dramatic sea cliffs and castle ruins that define this stretch of coast are nearby for exploration on foot. The apartment includes wifi, heating, electricity, bed linen and towels; smoking is not permitted inside.
