Riverside touring and camping park eight miles south-west of Aberdeen

About Deeside Holiday Park

Deeside Holiday Park occupies level, tree-sheltered grounds on the banks of the River Dee at Maryculter, just eight miles from Aberdeen city centre. The location strikes a useful balance: close enough for a convenient overnight stop or easy access to the city's museums, harbour and shops, yet quiet enough to serve as a proper base for exploring Royal Deeside. The Deeside Way footpath and cycle route passes nearby, offering car-free routes towards Peterculter and Banchory, while anglers can fish the Dee itself close to the park.

On-site facilities cover the essentials—electric hook-ups, showers, toilets, laundry and a small shop—and dogs are welcome on most pitches. Storybook Glen family attraction sits next door, adding appeal for younger children. The park takes touring caravans, motorhomes and tents alongside static units, and stays open year-round, making it a practical choice for visitors who want a campsite setting without sacrificing proximity to Aberdeen.

Great facilities and pod we rented was very nice. I would prefer the feel of human welcome rather than email with map of where your pod is, letter in pod with keys and instructions of what to do with bedding etc. Some like this, but would rather have someone welcome us and point out where facilities are and tell us about the site

I loved this park. Quiet location in the countryside. Small park but very well looked after by. Very helpful staff who are there straight away if any issues. We had a lovely lodge overlooking the fields with a hot tub and fabulous weather all week.\\nLots to do nearby, shops less than a few minutes drive away and lots of castles to see.\\nWhat a lovely relaxing week at Deeside Park and will definitely be back.

Close to where im working which is handy but it would of helped if we had known beforehand i couldn't park my van at the caravan but instead I need to walk from the main entertance all the way to the caravans at the back . Plenty of signs up when you get here saying no commercial parking but not 1 mention on the website while booking.
