About Travelodge Altrincham Central
A cooked breakfast and a bar to unwind in of an evening set the tone at Travelodge Altrincham Central, a 91-room hotel in Grafton Tower right in the heart of Altrincham. The on-site restaurant handles breakfast and evening meals, while the bar serves drinks that can also be brought up to your room, making this a practical base whether you're passing through for a night or staying longer.
Rooms are en-suite and generally spacious, with comfortable beds that come up often in guest feedback, though some rooms show signs of wear and could do with better upkeep. The hotel spreads across eight floors, served by a lift, with accessible rooms available and 24-hour reception for late arrivals. Pets are welcome, and on-site parking can be arranged for a fee, though space is limited and allocated on a first-come basis, with a nearby Sainsbury's offering round-the-clock alternative parking.
The location is one of the hotel's strongest points, with the Metrolink close by for quick trips into Manchester city centre, plus shops, pubs and bars within easy reach. Golf, fishing and other entertainment can be found nearby too. It's a straightforward, well-placed hotel that delivers good value, particularly for those prioritising location and breakfast over polish.

Very helpful and valuable hotel in the heart of Altrincham. Staff were very friendly and able to help me out with specific needs. Great value for money, hygienic, clean and smelled good. Room had a nice ambience and setting at night with the cosy lights. I see the rooms have had recent upgrades too. I particularly enjoyed the views from high up. You can see the skyline of Manchester City. Only suggestion, the upgraded rooms didn't seem that different to the standard rooms except the coffee machine. Well done team.

Good location in Altrincham. Travelled into central Manchester in around 30mins on the tram. Car parking on site is limited & chargeable, which is advertised, but spaces are small for anyone with a medium/large vehicle. A very large pool of water in front of the entrance. It hadn't been raining & not great if you had a wheeled suitcase. Our room was on L6. Usual Travelodge room, which was clean & bed comfortable. Some damage on floor to entrance to bathroom, although couldn't be seen, felt as though your foot would go through the floor. Water pressure extremely poor. Almost gave up waiting for shower to warm up to a decent temperature (& I don't like anything too hot) & just a trickle of water from the sink tap. Didn't have time to request a move to another room as we were heading out early to the airport.
