Up at the top end of Anglesey, Cae Ffynnon occupies a peaceful corner of a working farm about five minutes inland from Amlwch. This small, family-run site offers well-maintained pitches – grass and hardstanding options, all with electric hookups and picnic benches – giving you plenty of space to spread out. Shared facilities cover the basics: toilets, showers, washing-up area, and handy extras like ice pack freezing and a communal freezer.
The real charm here is the setting. You're within easy reach of coastal walking trails, bike paths and beaches, yet tucked away enough to feel properly remote. A village pub sits just 50 yards from your pitch – ideal for a welcome pint after a day exploring. Dogs and children are both welcomed.
Amlwch's shops and eateries are close by, and Holyhead's ferry port is around half an hour's drive if you're venturing onward to Ireland. It's a no-frills, well-located base that does the essentials well.

7 night stay. Absolutely brilliant. Surrounded by beautiful countryside. Shower block newly refurbished. You pay £1 for the showers. With plenty of time to shower. Highly recommend

The owner was friendly, but the toilet and showers were absolutely disgusting. So was the sink. It is probably safer to just drink straight from a river. Camping grounds were ok, but not great.

One word WOW!!!! First time taking the kids camping and after travelling 12 hours we were greeted by Len (the owner). He showed us the facilities and had a good chat with us before we set up camp. When you arrive on site you call the mobile number displayed on the sign to speak to Len. He tells you what pitch you are assigned to and while you get to the pitch Len drives to meet you. Facilities on site: One toilet with a sink One portaloo Kitchen sink area (ideal for watching up or brushing teeth) One shower (£1 to be inserted into the machine in the kitchen sink area) The site is absolutely stunning. Well kept and very piece full. The site backs onto a field where there are horses who like to come say hello (caution though one is a bit nippy and one likes to headbutt) There is a pub right next door called The Ring (they stop serving door at 830pm) We will 100% be coming back as the 12hr journey is definitely worth it!! Thank you Len for having us and look forward to seeing you again soon x

Lovely little site tucked away in the Anglesey countryside, toilets and shower were spotless this is a well loved site worth the visit.
