Chichester's shops and restaurants lie within easy reach, as do the beaches at Climping and Littlehampton to the west. Chichester Harbour is a short drive away for those wanting to explore the water. Bracken Manor itself sits on the coast, with direct access to the beach and space designed for groups of up to ten people across five bedrooms and one bathroom.
The house centres on a garden room that opens onto outdoor areas with sun loungers and a hot tub. Indoors there is room to spread out, and a bar for entertaining. The kitchen is equipped for cooking, while wifi, heating, bed linen and towels are all provided. Dogs are welcome as part of the household.
This works well for extended families or groups of friends looking to spend a week together by the sea, with enough separate sleeping areas that everyone gets their own space but the communal rooms encourage gathering. Smoking is not permitted inside.

I live nearby . My rehabilitation has improved where I no longer require adult nappies ( Tenna men ) .. I called Barnham manor and asked if they could be of use to there residents ? Gary and his wife were grateful and willing to oblige - upon arrival the home was clean fresh and inviting - as were the staff - grounds were immaculate - i highly recommend that you view this home if you are looking into a care home for loved ones

I have worked in nursing and care homes from an early age and never held them in high regard and hoped my children would never put me in a home when eventually needed. Barnham Manor has changed this completely. A very dear friend of the family could no longer manage at home when her daughter said she had found a nice place for her mum I was concerned and wary as they are not always how they appear. How wrong I was !! It is a wonderful place always spotlessly clean( no smell) staff are kind and caring beyond belief. Very welcoming to all visitors and flexible. Activities and celebrations are always on hand and food is great. Feels more like visiting your loved ones in there own place.keep op the good work Gary and Brenda you are amazing x

An excellent nursing and care home. Professional staff, well led by Brenda, the owner/manager who is charming and helpful. Everyone has different perceptions - but the other, earlier, reviewer who found the owner rude perhaps had their views clouded by emotion about a loved one or by cultural differences between themselves and her gentle but appropriately forceful approach by one who is always busy.

At very short notice following a traumatic fall, Barnham Manor were able to offer my 98 year old mother a ten day respite place. The staff were unfailingly kind and always ready to communicate with me when I visited. They also have an excellent activity coordinator. Thank you Brenda for your kindness, support and advice when I needed it.
