Manor Cottage

The South Downs National Park surrounds Findon, a working village where horses still train on the gallops and walking routes start from the lanes outside. Manor Cottage sits a few hundred yards from the pub and shops. Worthing's seafront and pier are five miles south; Arundel Castle ten miles away. For longer days out, Petworth House and Goodwood are within reach, and Pulborough Brooks nature reserve is eight miles north.

The cottage is yours alone, split across two floors. Downstairs has a living and dining room with a smart TV, plus a kitchen with oven, hob and microwave for self-catering. Upstairs is a bedroom with a king bed and a shower room with heated towel rail. Garden access is from the ground floor—an enclosed patio with furniture, though the garden itself involves 12 steps up. Wifi, electricity, bed linen and towels are included. One well-behaved dog can come with you, though not if under one year old. No smoking inside.

The South Downs Way runs through the area, with woodland walks to spot barn owls, red kites and roe deer. Spring brings bluebells along the footpaths. Paragliding, golf and other outdoor activities are available locally. The beach is five miles away.
