About Larkfield Priory Hotel & Restaurant
Larkfield Priory Hotel & Restaurant occupies a period building on the London Road in Aylesford, Kent, its character retained through years of use as a hotel while modern extras have been added around it. The 52 rooms mix that older heritage with practical comforts, and guests have access to a restaurant and bar on site, along with drinks available in the room and free WiFi throughout.
Beyond the bedrooms, the hotel has built up facilities that go well past the usual overnight stop: an indoor swimming pool, gym and spa or sauna give guests reason to linger, while the garden offers a quieter spot outdoors. Breakfast is served on site, there's a lift for easier access across floors, and luggage storage is available for those arriving early or leaving late. The property also functions as a wedding venue, and free on-site parking makes arrival straightforward.
Aylesford itself has pubs, restaurants and other eateries within easy reach, along with nearby entertainment options for evenings out. It's a practical base in Kent for those wanting a historic setting with the facilities of a larger hotel attached.
People say this hotel has friendly and helpful staff, delicious breakfast with several choices, comfortable beds, and convenient parking.
Other reviews mention the rooms can be neglected and poorly maintained.
