We stayed here for the second week on Manx Gp/Classic TT and enjoyed this campsite, the facilities struggled a bit due to the campsite being packed, but it had a lovely friendly atmosphere, walks to the beach and nearby viewing spots for the racing. Unfortunately when the racing finished and the bikers left a number of Manx families arrived and the atmosphere rapidly changed, we experienced adults and children playing ball games on our pitch, children racing between the pitches on bikes and kids playing on our pitch after dark with torches, it was obvious the adults didn't give a damn, as we were visitors. It's a lovely setting with reasonable facilities, lovely access to the beach, but just be aware of when you're visiting.

My family and I stayed here during the middle of July. A beautiful location but we were quite disappointed with no shop being open. We stayed one night here on a Sunday and it wasn't open, and it wasn't open either on the following morning that we were leaving the site. Also we never seen any food being served and again the Monday morning the shop/cafe wasn't serving any food and closed. Not sure why it wasn't open as would have thought summer time would have been a peak time to have it open. The shower rooms were also not kept too clean and not as pleasant as I thought. We were a bit disappointed, and think from pictures /videos advertising the site it wasn't how we expected it to look.

Stayed here for the 2026 TT. Great location, short walk to the beach and to the racing (if its not raining). Food options are limited but are a resonable price and cooked well! My biggest downfalls are the prices in the shop, the cost to use the tumble dryer (£5 for 30 mins) and it made the clothes even wetter but worst was the bed mites!!! The foam mattress was thin for our pre-erected tent but all of us were bitten like mad! The covers might get washed but the mattress, dont think it does!
