Tiny campground near Ballynahinch with tent, motorhome and glamping pitches, on a working farm in a remote location.
About Brook Cottage Camping
Brook Cottage Camping is a small working farm site in County Down with just a handful of pitches for tents, motorhomes and glamping. The scale means it stays quiet and peaceful, and the level terrain with accessible parking at each pitch makes it straightforward to set up. It sits in a remote location but is close enough to Ballynahinch for shops and restaurants, with public transport nearby if you need it.
Facilities include showers, a washing-up area, communal fridge and freezer, and a food shop on site stocking local produce. There's a barbecue provided, and you can use your own. Gas cylinders are available, and the site has charging points for devices and electric vehicles. Motorcycles are welcome. The farm setting means no dogs or pets are allowed.
With only one to ten pitches, this is a site that suits anyone wanting a genuinely quiet stay. Fishing and golf are nearby, and the farm location appeals to those after a slower pace.

What visitors say
Such a quiet, relaxing small place to stay. Surrounded by nature. Sun hits the site all day which is great especially after a cold night. Fridge and a hotplate are helpful additions and make life easier. No shower. Zero risk of a vehicle sinking after rain which was a worry for me. Free range eggs are available for a small cost. U won't get fresher!

We just spent one night in our tent, it was late in the season and we were the only people there. So it was a very quiet and lovely place. The owner was friendly and helpful. I highly recommend staying here.

Peaceful, simple camping spot. Ed the owner was very friendly and helpful. Kitchen with fridge and hot plate were great to have onsite, and there's a proper loo.
