What visitors say
We had a really lovely day at Cotswold Wildlife Park & Gardens and would definitely recommend it. The entrance price felt like good value for money, and there was plenty of parking, which made everything easy from the start. There was a great variety of animals, and our highlights were definitely seeing the rhinos and giraffes. We couldn't spot a few of the animals we were hoping to see, but that didn't take away from the overall experience. The gardens are beautiful, with lovely plants and trees, and it's a really nice place to walk around. The play area is brilliant for children, and the train is a nice addition too, although we didn't use it on this visit. The toilets were okay but quite basic. Our only real downside was that the café and gift shop were quite expensive. We also felt that a lot of the gift shop was made up of soft toys, so it would have been nice to see a wider range of souvenirs and gifts. Was a very bossy and rude keeper of the goats. But another keeper gave a very fast paced rehearsed talk about the penguins but given how fast he was talking hard to catch all what was being said, animals however looked cared for and well feed. Plenty of space for them to roam in. Would be nice to know how many of each type of animal, name etc on their enclosure but did provide some facts on their species in general. Overall, we had a great day out and would happily visit again. It's a great place for families and animal lovers alike.

What a fantastic zoo/wild life park. Firstly all the animal are well kept, huge areas to roam and have lots of freedom. The staff are helpful and pleasant. Keepers are well engaged with animals and take pride. So yep a top tier place. Food is also really good, a wide range of homemade food and the cake selection is also a nice treat. I would highly recommend any one to visit.

Great value for money, we got tickets from our campsite opposite the park. They are super dog friendly, dogs on leads and 4 paws on the floor, but so good to have a dog friendly day out. Food and drink was fairly priced and all freshly cooked. The park was accessible, easy to walk round and a little train was only £2. Lots of picnic areas and plenty of facilities dotted around the park. Lovely landscaping and well kept gardens.

We had a great day out, the car park is large and and not a maze like others. There is a gifts hop which is great for the little ones. The animals were really well kept and the layout of the enclosures made it so we never found ourselves looking for the animals they were clearly visible. Also I urge you to explore there are many little side buildings with exhibits and reptiles that I almost missed. Plenty of rest stops and good food and not overly priced. We were there from 10:00 until 15:00 so a good days worth to see.
