What visitors say
This is a great , peaceful, basic campsite with water and waste disposal. Dog walk around the meadow or the canal towpath to Banbury. Easy walking to the village, 2 pubs - recommend The Red Lion as a country pub. Unfortunately the shop across the road is closed but there is a coffee/ gift shop in the village and a cafe on the canal side. The owners, Jeff and Timmy are very helpful. Pay via an honestly box on site. We had a great 4 nights, lots of walking and a few beers in the pub.

Been coming here for the last four or five years . What a jewel in the Oxfordshire countryside Bridge Meadow is . Always a pleasure to stay here and enjoy the fishing and the two pubs in the village . Jeff & Timmy are excellent hosts and pop round for a chat when their doing the rounds of the site and nothing is too much trouble for them including towing me out a few years ago . Looking forward to our next visit in August if not before .

Love this campsite. There is nothing there, just a field with an elsan point, no toilets or electric but it's so peaceful. The field has the river running along the left, and over the hedge to the right, there is the canal. There are two pubs in the village, we didn't use either, there is a well stocked village shop opposite the entrance to the field and the canal towpath goes for miles in either direction. We went there for the first time in July 2023 and can't believe it took us so long. Already booked to return at the end of the month 😊
