About Premier Inn Bangor
Premier Inn Bangor gives visitors a straightforward, dependable base close to Bangor Castle and the town's main attractions, with the seafront and marina within easy walking distance. Rooms follow the chain's standard modern format, and the hotel has ample on-site parking, a welcome plus in a town where seafront parking can fill up on busy summer days.
A restaurant downstairs covers breakfast and evening meals, and free Wi-Fi is available throughout. The hotel's straightforward pricing and central position make it a popular choice for families and visitors who want a no-fuss base for exploring the town on foot.
Bangor's railway station, Ward Park and the North Down Museum are all within a short walk, making a car unnecessary once checked in.
What guests say
I had a really enjoyable stay at the Premier Inn Bangor. The location is excellent, only a couple of minutes’ walk from the train station, bus services and taxi ranks, making it an ideal base for getting around the area. The rooms are exactly what you would expect from Premier Inn. They are simple, clean, comfortable and functional, with everything you need for a stay. The only small improvement I would suggest is adding a toilet brush to the bathroom. What really sets this hotel apart is the team. From the moment I arrived, I received one of the warmest welcomes I have had at any hotel in Northern Ireland. Everyone was friendly, approachable and genuinely helpful. They were always around if you needed anything, but never intrusive, and nothing ever seemed too much trouble. The food was another pleasant surprise. The all day dining menu is reasonably priced with good quality meals, and the breakfast offers plenty of choice whether you prefer a full cooked breakfast or something continental. The all you can eat breakfast is particularly good value. Bangor itself is currently going through a lot of redevelopment, so there is not a huge amount happening in the town centre at the moment. However, the hotel is ideally placed for visiting Bangor Castle, Ward Park and the beautiful coastline, all of which are within easy reach. Overall, this is a clean, comfortable hotel in a fantastic location, but it is the team who really make it stand out. I would happily stay here again.

We stayed here at the end of March for 3 days. The stay was adequate but what has really upset us is that during our stay my wife fell and broke her arm getting out of the shower. The tub was very high and the area to stand in there was extremely narrow. She required surgery once we returned home. The hotel staff took a safety report but no one from the hotel chain has ever followed up to ask how she was doing. I am surprised by the lack of concern and poor customer service

From making contact last year to book for guests for our wedding (10/7/26), the customer service from Chris has been the best, he answered every query and question with the upmost professionalism, and dealt with ALL my worries . Our stay was amazing, the room spotless and the bed so comfy. Breakfast the next morning was lovely, good selection of everything and presented well. Highly recommend Premier Inn Bangor, Co. Down

Stayed here for 5 days this week. Ideal location. Rooms are lovely and kept clean along with the whole hotel. The staff were all extremely friendly and couldn’t do enough for you. They work very long hours but are always professional and so helpful. We ate at the hotel a few evenings and the food was really good. Will definitely go back and stay at this hotel again.
