The Piggery is a converted studio annexe in Carlingcott, a village six miles from Bath's city centre. Built on the site of a former Wesleyan chapel, it occupies a single ground floor with an open-plan living, kitchen and bedroom area under a vaulted ceiling. The double bed, shower cubicle, and sitting space are all within this unified room, making it compact but efficient. Velux windows face out over the private garden; there's no separation between zones, so it's best suited to two people comfortable with that arrangement.
The kitchen comes equipped for real cooking—electric oven, induction hob, air fryer, microwave, fridge-freezer—rather than holiday basics. The living area has a Smart TV with streaming apps, DAB radio, and comfortable seating. Outside, a gravelled courtyard with garden furniture provides a quiet spot; there's also an electric vehicle charging point and private parking for one car. Wi-Fi, heating, bed linen and towels are all included.
Pets stay free, and the Cam Valley walks start from the doorstep. A pub sits within a mile. The village of Peasedown St John, with restaurants and shops, is a five-minute drive. Smoking is not permitted.
